DEAR GOD, PLEASE UNTIE THE KNOTS THAT ARE

IN MY MIND, MY HEART AND MY LIFE. REMOVE

THE HAVE NOTS, THE CAN NOTS AND THE DO NOTS

THAT I HAVE IN MY MIND. ERASE THE WILL NOTS,

MAY NOTS, MIGHT NOTS THAT MAY FIND A HOME

IN MY HEART. RELEASE ME FROM THE COULD NOTS,

WOULD NOTS AND SHOULD NOTS THAT OBSTRUCT

MY LIFE. AND MOST OF ALL, DEAR GOD, I ASK

THAT YOU REMOVE FROM MY MIND, MY HEART

AND MY LIFE ALL OF THE ‘AM NOTS’ THAT I HAVE

ALLOWED TO HOLD ME BACK, ESPECIALLY THE

THOUGHT THAT I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

AMEN.

Persatuan DAYBREAK

A quick six-minute video introduction about Persatuan DAYBREAK.

Starting out in a rented shop house in Ipoh's infamous "Old Town" in 1992, Daybreak's trainees quickly grew in number that within two years, a separate Training Department was set up in Gopeng, while the Administration and Handicraft Departments remained in Ipoh.

Daybreak's dream of having all its department under one roof took form in 1998 when an acre of land in Pengkalan, Ipoh was donated. It was then when Daybreak embarked on building its own centre. By the end of 2000, all of Daybreak's departments moved into its new premise.

Daybreak was officially opened by the Sultan of Perak, His Royal Highness Sultan Azlan Shah on 24th April 2003.

Persatuan Daybreak is registered with the Registrar of Society and governed by a voluntary board of management.
